LAKEVIEW CATTLE COMPANY

We do Red Heads!

About Us

The Fehringer family had been involved in all aspects of agriculture for 25 years. Their involvement in the cattle industry has always been Registered Red Angus. By using the latest science and technology, they can produce elite animals that would complement any herd across the country. Lakeview Cattle practices heavy use of artificial insemination and embryology, therefore ensuring quailty offspring.

Other enterprises include:

LAKEVIEW AG

Growing and managing potatoes, wheat, and sugar-snap peas. LAKEVIEW AG has always tried to stay diversified by raising a variety of crops. Demand of products changes from year to year, dependant on what the demand is by the consumer.

Along with ever-changing crops, technology is constantly changing as well. Using GPS systems in tractors makes it possible to have rows from one side of the filed to the opposite side of the field be within a couple inches off of the parallel.

Also, VFR (variable fertilizer rate) is utilized here at LAKEVIEW AG. This is a process of after we have the soil sampled and infrared mapped, we can apply fertilizer at a variable rate depending on the types of soil in a particular field. That way, the soil is getting exactly what it is low on without the expense of over-application when it is unnecessary.

LAKEVIEW SEED CUTTING

Custom cutting and treating seed potatoes. LAKEVIEW AG listened to area farmers for the need of a centralized location to cut/treat potato seed, due to the distance of trucking in the south-east portion of Idaho. In 2010, the company added the LAKEVIEW SEED CUTTING, LLC to their program and it has proven to be extremely beneficial to LAKEVIEW AG and area farmers.

LAKEVIEW LAND MANAGEMENT

Stewardship and land management of farm land. LAKEVIEW LAND MANAGEMENT is in the business of partnering with farmland owners to manage and care for their farmland — maximizing production while being good stewards of the land.

Whether you are a farmer or an investor, a relationship with LAKEVIEW LAND MANAGEMENT takes any worry or uncertainty out of land ownership.

LAKEVIEW LAND MANAGEMENT treats every acre of its land with the care and nurture that will keep it fertile and healthy for generations to come.

In the same way, trust and open communication keep business relationships healthy. Dealing with people honestly and with integrity, and in treating people with respect.
